I have kept their words and tried to do my habit at work. Joining the navy transportation, I always arrive at Unika Campus at 6.30. After printing the attendance, I go to the 3rd floor of Thomas Aquinas Building. I open the windows to refresh the air. After checking all of collections, I turn on the computer and browse http://www.sabda.org/. However I have to begin my activities with reading the holy bread and praying. I remember at Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." As a response to God's forgiveness, the Christian believer is in turn expected to learn how to forgive others; some would teach that the forgiveness of others is a necessary part of receiving forgiveness ourselves.
From the briefing on the 2nd floor, I get the library’s information. Going up to 3rd floor, I check the result of ordering photocopy and/or print out, input the data of them, also make money report. Although using the computer, I must be aware to against coming the users and taking their result of ordering photocopy and/or print out. Nevertheless I check and recheck tables, carrel studies, bookshelves and also all of collections. When I get some collections on the tables, carrel studies and/or bookshelves, I have to return them with sort numbers. In addition, I usually ask for the users that sit on the floor to move and use a chair or a carrel study. If get the broken books, I shall select and prepare them in the counter to be repaired by the processing division. If the users want to borrow the old collection, I shall help them to browse the New Spektra. If they want to order the print out, I shall guide them to open the file and fill in the form correctly. I must count the users, the shelving books and the order of photocopies. I input those data into their files. Before going home at 14.30, I am given the money report of ordering photocopy and/or print out by a part timer on the 3rd floor. I remember to II, LL, II, AA, KK, MM, FF, SS, PP, and FF.
Dealing in Unika's vision and mission, plus it's simplify [STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE], I think Unika's Library has to be E BUS. I mean, it has to be Excellent to Bargain Users Satisfaction. Our users have to be served with well in registration, collection books, research books, reserve books, audio visual collection, park reading, and also the e'books. Unika's Library has to increase the e'books. All Unika's employees/members have to improve the ability to write e'books. As a bus, our users are passangers, Pak Teguh has to be a driver, all staff and librarians have to be beauty/gentle crew bus. For our users have many objectives, the E BUS goes to their directions. All staff and librarians have to be a TEAM WORK to guide the users. All librarians have to be Together, Emphaty, Asses, Maturity, Willingness, Organization, Respect, Kindness to them.
If we were a TEAM WORK, we would have a working spirit at the library.
